Dog Walking, Daycare & Boarding Services in Hampstead & North London

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by The London Hounds (“we”, “us”, “our”), offering professional dog walking, dog daycare, and dog boarding in Hampstead and North London.

By booking any service, you (“the Client”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided

The London Hounds provides:

  • Professional dog walking in Hampstead and surrounding areas

  • Structured dog daycare in North London

  • Home-style dog boarding services in Hampstead

All services are delivered in a controlled, safe, and professional environment, prioritising dog welfare and behaviour standards.

3. Booking & Reserved Time Slots

All services operate on a reserved time slot basis.

By confirming a booking:

  • A dedicated space is allocated to your dog

  • That slot is exclusively held and unavailable to other clients

Due to high demand for dog walkers in Hampstead, availability is limited and scheduled in advance.

4. Holiday & Extended Absence Policy

Where a Client will be absent for more than fourteen (14) consecutive days, a 50% holding fee will apply to retain their reserved time slots.

Purpose:

  • To maintain your dog’s routine

  • To secure your allocated position within our schedule

  • To prevent permanent reallocation to other clients

5. Holding Fee Terms

  • The holding fee is 50% of the Client’s regular service cost during the absence period

  • This fee guarantees retention of the Client’s specific time slots

Refund Conditions:

  • Refundable only if the Client permanently discontinues services while away

  • Non-refundable if services resume after the absence

6. Cancellations & Short Notice Changes

Due to the structured nature of our dog walking and daycare services in London:

  • Short-notice cancellations may be charged in full or part

  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in loss of priority booking status

We reserve the right to decline ongoing bookings where scheduling reliability is impacted.

7. Payment Terms

  • Payment must be made in accordance with agreed booking terms

  • Late or missed payments may result in suspension of services

  • All fees are non-transferable unless agreed in writing

8. Dog Behaviour & Suitability

By using our services, the Client confirms that their dog:

  • Is non-aggressive towards people and other dogs

  • Is suitable for group or structured environments

  • Has no known behavioural issues that could pose a risk

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or terminate services where a dog displays unsafe behaviour

  • Remove any dog that compromises the safety of others

9. Health & Welfare Requirements

The Client agrees that their dog:

  • Is in good health and fit for exercise

  • Is up-to-date with vaccinations (where applicable)

  • Is free from contagious illness or parasites

If a dog becomes unwell during care:

  • We reserve the right to seek veterinary treatment if necessary

  • Any associated costs will be the responsibility of the Client

10. Liability

While every care is taken:

  • The London Hounds shall not be held liable for illness, injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence

  • Dogs are handled in controlled, professional environments at all times

The Client accepts the inherent risks associated with dog walking and group care environments.

11. Access & Property

Where access to a property is required:

  • The Client must provide accurate access details

  • We accept no liability for loss or damage unless due to negligence

12. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate services immediately where:

  • These Terms are breached

  • A dog poses a safety risk

  • Payments are not made

13. Amendments

The London Hounds reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
